Legal & Terms

    Terms & Conditions

The terms governing your use of UniEntrance. Please read these terms carefully — by creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by them.

    Last updated: 14 October 2026

    1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to UniEntrance ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the UniEntrance platform at unientrance.com (the "Platform"), a global education marketplace connecting students, educational institutions, and recruitment agents.

By registering an account, browsing the Platform, or using any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users regardless of role or location. Certain features may be subject to additional terms or agreements, which are incorporated by reference.

    2. Definitions

    • "Platform" — the UniEntrance website and all associated services at unientrance.com.
    • "User" — any individual or entity that registers an account or uses the Platform.
    • "Student" — a user who creates a profile and applies for courses.
    • "Institution" — an educational organisation that publishes courses and manages applications.
    • "Agent" — a recruitment agency that partners with institutions and manages student applications.
    • "Application" — a student's submission expressing interest in a specific course at a specific institution.
    • "Content" — any information, data, documents, messages, or materials uploaded or shared on the Platform.

    3. User Accounts & Roles

The Platform supports four user roles. Each role has different permissions and responsibilities:

    Students

Individuals aged 16 or over who create a profile, browse courses, and submit applications to institutions through the Platform.

    Institutions

Educational institutions (universities, colleges, schools) that claim or create an account, publish courses, and manage applications from students and agents.

    Agents

Recruitment agencies that partner with institutions, publish courses on behalf of partner institutions, recruit students, and manage applications.

    Admin

UniEntrance platform administrators who verify institutions, approve claims and partnerships, oversee applications, and manage the Platform.

Account registration: You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and for all activity under your account. One email address may not be used for more than one account.

Email verification: All accounts must verify their email address before accessing the Platform. Institutions must use an email address whose domain matches their official website domain.

Age requirement: You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement.

    4. Institution Verification & Claims

Institutions can join the Platform by claiming an existing institution in our directory or by creating a new institution listing.

    • Claiming an existing institution: If your institution already appears in our directory, you may claim it. Your registration email domain must match the institution's official website domain. All claims are subject to admin review and approval before the account becomes active.
    • Creating a new institution: If your institution is not in our directory, you may create a new listing during registration. New institutions are also subject to admin approval.
    • Verified status: Institutions with an approved, active account are displayed as "Verified" on the Platform. This indicates that the email domain has been matched and admin approval granted, but does not constitute an endorsement or accreditation by UniEntrance.
    • Effect of activation: When an institution's account is activated, any courses previously published by agents on that institution's behalf are automatically unpublished and returned to pending status. The institution may then republish or manage those courses directly.

UniEntrance reserves the right to reject, suspend, or revoke an institution claim if the domain match cannot be verified, the information is inaccurate, or there is evidence of fraudulent activity.

    5. Agent Partnerships

Agents may partner with institutions on the Platform to recruit students and manage applications on their behalf.

    • Adding partners: Agents can search for existing institutions in our directory and add them as partners, or create a new institution listing and add it as a partner. All partnerships are subject to admin approval.
    • Publishing on behalf: Agents may publish courses for their partner institutions. Courses published by an agent will display the agent's agency name as the publisher. When the partner institution activates its own account, agent-published courses are automatically unpublished.
    • Application routing: Applications for courses published by an agent are routed to that agent, unless the institution has an active account, in which case applications are routed to the institution. If no active institution account and no agent is assigned, applications are routed to admin for allocation.
    • Agent verification: UniEntrance may conduct background checks on agents and reserves the right to approve or reject agent accounts and partnerships at its discretion.

    6. Course Publishing

Institutions and agents (on behalf of partner institutions) may publish courses on the Platform. By publishing a course, you represent and warrant that:

    • The course information (title, description, fees, requirements, duration, intake dates) is accurate and up to date.
    • You are authorised to publish courses on behalf of the institution.
    • The course does not violate any law or third-party rights.

UniEntrance reserves the right to remove or unpublish any course that is inaccurate, misleading, or violates these Terms. Admin may also unpublish courses when an institution activates its account.

    7. Applications & Admissions

Students may apply for courses through the Platform. By submitting an application, you acknowledge that:

    • Your profile information and documents will be shared with the specific institution or agent handling that course, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
    • UniEntrance facilitates the application process but does not guarantee admission. Admission decisions are made solely by the institution.
    • Applications may be assigned to an institution, an agent, or held by admin. Admin has sole authority to assign or reassign applications.
    • You are responsible for the accuracy of all information and documents you submit. Providing false information may result in application rejection and account suspension.

Institutions and agents are responsible for reviewing applications, conducting interviews, issuing offer letters, and communicating decisions to students in a timely manner.

    8. Letters & Documents

The Platform provides tools for institutions and agents to create and manage letter templates, generate offer letters and other documents, and share documents with students.

    • Letter templates: Institutions and agents may upload and manage Word and PDF templates for generating letters. You are responsible for the content and legality of all templates and generated letters.
    • Document sharing: Documents shared through the Platform (transcripts, passports, offer letters) are visible only to the parties involved in the relevant application. You must not share documents outside the Platform without consent.
    • File uploads: Uploaded files are stored securely in Cloud Storage with access controlled by row-level security policies. You retain ownership of your uploaded content.

    9. Messaging & Communications

The Platform provides instant messaging between students, institutions, and agents, as well as interview scheduling and notifications. When using these features:

    • You agree to communicate respectfully and professionally. Harassment, abuse, or fraudulent communication is prohibited.
    • Messages may be logged for safety, dispute resolution, and compliance purposes.
    • You must not use messaging to solicit business outside the Platform in a manner that circumvents Platform rules or attempts to evade commission agreements.

    10. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

    Key principles include:

    • Student data is only shared with an institution or agent when the student explicitly applies for a course.
    • We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
    • You have rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable laws to access, correct, or delete your data.

For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.

    11. Prohibited Conduct

You must not engage in any of the following conduct while using the Platform:

    • Providing false, misleading, or inaccurate information in your profile, application, or account registration.
    • Impersonating another person, institution, or agent, or using an email domain you do not own to claim an institution.
    • Publishing courses that are misleading, fraudulent, or for institutions you are not authorised to represent.
    • Sharing, selling, or distributing student personal data obtained through the Platform to third parties without explicit consent.
    • Using the Platform to harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
    • Attempting to access data or accounts you are not authorised to access, or circumventing Platform security measures.
    • Uploading malware, viruses, or harmful code, or attempting to disrupt the Platform's operation.
    • Using the Platform for any illegal activity, including fraud, money laundering, or immigration violations.
    • Creating multiple accounts for the same entity or individual to circumvent Platform rules or restrictions.
    • Scraping, copying, or extracting data from the Platform using automated tools without our written permission.

Violation of these rules may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination at our discretion. We may also report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.

    12. Intellectual Property

Platform content: The Platform, including its design, text, graphics, logos, software, and features, is owned by UniEntrance and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Platform without our written permission.

User content: You retain ownership of the content you upload to the Platform (profiles, documents, course listings, messages). By uploading content, you grant UniEntrance a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and process that content for the purpose of operating the Platform and providing services to you and other users.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to all content you upload and that it does not infringe any third party's intellectual property rights.

    13. Disclaimers

Important: Please read this section carefully. The following disclaimers limit the liability of UniEntrance and clarify the nature of our services.

    Intermediary role

UniEntrance is a marketplace and intermediary platform. We facilitate connections between students, institutions, and agents but do not guarantee admission, enrolment, visa approval, or any specific outcome from any application.

    No guarantee of admission

Submitting an application through the Platform does not guarantee acceptance by any institution. Admission decisions are made solely by the institution and depend on their own criteria, available places, and policies.

    Visa & immigration

UniEntrance does not provide immigration advice or guarantee visa approval. Visa decisions are made by government authorities. Students should consult official government sources and qualified immigration advisors.

    Course & institution accuracy

While we strive to keep information accurate, course details, fees, requirements, and availability may change without notice. Always verify critical information directly with the relevant institution before making decisions.

    Agent conduct

Agents operate as independent entities. UniEntrance facilitates partnerships and provides tools for background checking, but is not responsible for the conduct, representations, or agreements between agents and institutions.

    Financial transactions

Commission payments, fees, and financial arrangements between institutions and agents are governed by their own agreements. UniEntrance provides tools to manage these but is not a party to such financial agreements.

    User-generated content

Messages, documents, and profiles are provided by users. UniEntrance is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of user-generated content shared through the Platform.

    No professional advice

Content on the Platform, including blog articles and guides, is for general information only and does not constitute legal, financial, immigration, or educational advice.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that defects will be corrected. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without notice.

    14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UniEntrance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Platform.

UniEntrance's total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to UniEntrance in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or if you have not paid anything, then nominal damages only.

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

    15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UniEntrance, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

    • Your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
    • Your Content, including any claim that it infringes third-party rights.
    • Your conduct toward other users, including students, institutions, or agents.

    16. Suspension & Termination

UniEntrance reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for suspension or termination include but are not limited to:

    • Violation of these Terms or the Privacy Policy.
    • Fraudulent, misleading, or illegal activity.
    • Failure to verify your identity or institution domain.
    • Prolonged inactivity or abandonment of your account.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your access to the Platform will cease, and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and retention schedule.

    17. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform, the parties shall first attempt to resolve it amicably through good-faith negotiations. You must contact us with details of the dispute before initiating formal proceedings.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within thirty (30) days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration institution, unless you are entitled to bring a claim in a local court under mandatory consumer protection laws.

    18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which UniEntrance is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction for any dispute that cannot be resolved through arbitration or small claims court.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

    19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or Platform features. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Platform or sending an email to your registered address at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Platform and close your account.
